Paola and I just spoke. She's at the hospital, sitting in the ambulatory surgery waiting room. Continuing her tradition she declared for the record "I'm not afraid! I'm not afraid!"

How you can help!
- Make a monetary donation to the Palo Alto Community Breast Health Project (CBHP)
- If you are in the Bay Area, Vonlunteer at the CBHP
- Shop online to benefit CBHP
- Take action through Young Survival Coalition and advocate for young woman's cancer research, treatment, and legislation. Donate your time or money today!
- Support the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation
- Walk for a Cure and help raise funds for cancer research.
- Educate yourself about Breast Cancer. Share this info with all the women you love
- Learn how to do breast self exams and teach others!
- Send me cards, encourangement, books, articles, magazines, movies or music; but make a donation in lieu of flowers to any of the organizations above
- Volunteer to shave your head when my hair starts falling out!
- Most importantly--in the immortal words of the Beatles--"The Love you make is the love you take!" So love with abandon...
